Cemetery & Columbarium

Mount Calvary Cemetery is the only Catholic cemetery in west Tennessee, outside of Memphis.  It has a long history in the Catholic community of Jackson.  Jonathan “Casey” Jones, an internationally-famous railroad engineer, is buried in this cemetery!

The cemetery is operated by our parish staff & cared for by the Friends of Mount Calvary, who maintain and beautify the property throughout the year. We have recently installed new fencing & an access gate. If you would like to become one of the Friends of Mount Calvary, please email Rose Mary Gill at our parish office.
