Children’s Mass Bag Ministry

Our parish is excited to launch a new ministry designed especially for our youngest parishioners! The Children’s Mass Bag Ministry helps little ones participate in the beauty of the Mass with faith-filled, quiet activities—while giving parents peace of mind during worship.

Each bag includes:

• Catholic coloring pages and colored pencils

• A soft, one-decade rosary

• Mass flip-book

• A small faith-related board book

How It Works: Families may pick up a Mass Bag before entering the church and return it afterward. Volunteers refresh, sanitize, and restock bags weekly.

How You Can Help:

We welcome volunteers to help assemble, restock, or make a monetary donation.

Thank you from the Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus would like to thank St Mary’s Parishioners for generously donating toward Birth Choice’s new Esaote ultrasound machine, which will impact countless lives. As a token of our appreciation, we would like to invite you to attend a dedication and blessing ceremony for the new machine conducted by Fr. Dennis Schenkel, with the local Knights of Columbus Chapter #1101

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 25th, at 4:00 PM at Birth Choice in Jackson. The event is free and open to the public, and tours of our clinic will follow the ceremony.

The $52,000 ultrasound machine was purchased with designated funds raised in under a year. The local Knights of Columbus Chapter #1101 raised $26,000 for the new machine, and the national Knights of Columbus organization matched their donations with an additional $26,000 for a total of $52,000 raised. This contribution is part of a massive national effort, with the Knights of Columbus having purchased over 2,000 machines for pregnancy centers through July 2025.
